Saskia Lethin’s photographs preserve moments to return to. With her unwillingness to let things lie in the past, Saskia’s collection has grown into an index of nostalgic tugs; Indulgent photographs of her grandfather’s house, street cats, family meals, mundane landmarks, bedroom objects, and old friends’ shadows. She sequences these images as gestures and grunts to tell tales that might never leave her mouth but that may remind you of that time when.
Born and raised in New York City, Saskia now lives in Illinois and is pursuing her BFA at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
